Join Madam Butterfly in France 

SOURCEFIELD is opening a special artist call for one creative to join multidisciplinary artist Madam Butterfly in France for an immersive two-week creative experience.

This opportunity is for an artist who is ready to step outside of their normal environment, create intentionally, collaborate across disciplines, and add an international experience to their artistic journey.

We are especially interested in hearing from music producers, photographers, visual artists/painters, and multidisciplinary creatives who are excited about the possibility of creating alongside Madam Butterfly while in France.

This is more than a trip. It is an opportunity to lock in creatively, experiment, collaborate, document the experience, build new work, and allow a new environment to influence what we create together.

Applications close: September 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET

Selected artist notified: September 18, 2026

Deposit due: within 48–72 hours of selection

Residency July 2027

We are seeking ONE artist who:

 Has an established creative practice and portfolio

 Is collaborative, professional, open-minded, and creatively curious

 Can commit to approximately two weeks in France

 Is interested in creating original work and/or collaborating with Madam Butterfly

 Understands that this is an immersive creative experience—not simply a vacation

 Is prepared to meet the financial commitment associated with participating

There is a required deposit upon selection to officially secure your place.

Please do not submit an application unless you are prepared to make the required deposit within the communicated timeframe if selected. Additional financial, travel, residency, and participation details will be discussed with the selected artist before final confirmation.
